Peterbilt Day Cab Kits

Prairie Technology offers several kits directly to the end user. Designed with an easy to install design in mind, these kits allow our customers the opportunity to convert Peterbilt sleeper trucks into a roomy and versatile vocational or day cab application. The unique installation process is also accomplished without the need for a special rivet gun. When ordering one of these kits, it is very important to know what type of sleeper is the subject of the conversion.

There are three types of sleepers. They include the Ultra-cab (high roof), the Unibilt (low roof), and the non-Unibilt (button up panel). We have included photos of each type of sleeper on this page. You can choose from black, gray, or tan interior. When ordering your kit, please make sure that you have identified the sleeper type that you have. Do not make an assumption that you know what you have! BE PRECISE! The kits are not interchangeable and are specifically designed for each type of conversion. If you order the wrong kit, you will be responsible for boxing it up and returning it to us intact as well as the shipping cost for the return and the correct kit to you.

Each kit includes all of the hardware and reinforced fiberglass components that you will need to complete the job yourself. They are as follows:

Ultra-cab	5.5 inches extended back panel (G2), window, window rubber, lock strip, miscellaneous hardware, adhesive, interior kit, approximate measurement (60"hX59"w)
Unibilt	5.5 inches extended back panel (G2), window, window rubber, lock strip, miscellaneous hardware, adhesive, interior kit, approximate measurement (50"hX58"w)
Non-Unibilt (Peterbilt Button Up)	Aluminum panel, window, black trim ring, adhesive, miscellaneous hardware, window rubber, lock strip
Unibilt (2 1/2")	2.5 inches extended back panel (G2), window, window rubber, lock strip, miscellaneous hardware, adhesive, interior kit, approximate measurement (50"hX58"w)
Air Ride Suspension	Optional Prairie Technology custom designed suspension for the kit
