Following nearly a year of extensive research and development, Prairie Technology LLC now offers the first and only Cascadia day cab conversion kit available on the market today. Freightliner’s newest and most aerodynamically designed model can now be adapted for either vocational or traditional day cab use depending upon your choice of two distinct body styles.
In keeping with our commitment to quality, integrity, safety, and value, we offer both a 6 inch and 24 inch stretch day cab conversion kit (will not work for factory daycabs, only from factory sleeper trucks). Both kits include roof and back panels that have been designed and engineered to meet or exceed the safety and structural standards as originally manufactured by Freightliner. Both extruded aluminum and hat channel provide superior strength and structural integrity in the most demanding applications.
The 24 inch berth can be engineered for either additional storage, or for a small legal sleeper. When fitted with a bunk, this extended berth meets the federal DOT standards for width, height, and depth to qualify as a legal sleeper. This small bunk is superbly designed to handle various vocational applications such as agriculture, fuel or other tank hauling, oil field work, service trucks, LTL, and other specialty uses.
